New Clinical Trials of Gene Therapy for AIDS to Begin.

I posted, yesterday, about the breakthrough in Germany about the patient who is HIV negative after receiving bone marrow treatment from a donor without the CCR5 protein that the virus needs to penetrate T-cells. Following that up, there are now new clinical trials beginning for gene replacement therapy, also involving CCR5, plus several others.
