Charlie's Mother.

Every once in awhile, you read something that takes you completely by surprise and reduces you to tears. That happened to me today when I read this blog entry from Alexandra Billings. Alex is currently in Chicago performing in Seussical. She writes that during the preview period, when there are lots of kids who are brought to the show, three cast members will volunteer to sit out in the lobby afterwards and sign autographs and talk to the kids.

On this day, a 10 year old boy walked up with his mom standing right behind him. What happened during their exchange is so surprising and so moving, I had to share it with you.

I feel so lucky to have Alex in my life. And did I mention that she really knows how to write? Just go and read.
