In my daily routine, partly because I suffer from a prolapse in my intestines, I take a HUGE dose of fiber (Metamucil) every morning, I've longed touted the benefits of it. Now a new study bears out my feelings. (I'm always telling everyone, "Take Metamucil!"). It's good for diabetes (which I also have) and for lots of things that ail you, including heart disease.
Fiber good!

Indeed... it also lowers the risk of colon cancer & helps to regulate fluid balance & electrolytes within the body. This indirectly assists the body in getting rid of toxins which we are exposed to in everyday life (if only it could be modified to specifically target the worst one: ignorance). Sorry, couldn't resist :D .
