Luckily, no one was hurt. And thanks to low winds, the firefighters managed to put it out before it got to any buildings. I hadn't realized, though, what it looked like on the Hollywood side of the hill until I saw this picture! What a shot!

Our Big Fire
Luckily, no one was hurt. And thanks to low winds, the firefighters managed to put it out before it got to any buildings. I hadn't realized, though, what it looked like on the Hollywood side of the hill until I saw this picture! What a shot!

How very frightening too. There are a few cottages along the ridge just up from the sign also. We used to live up there. And imagine, two little boys started that. I hope they have learned something.
I saw this from just north of LAX, it looked a lot closer there was so much smoke.
The accounts I read said it was started by teenagers (16 or 17?) from Indiana who were messing with fireworks.
Wow, that almost looks like something in a movie...
Glad everyone's OK
Well! That certainly looks rather apocalyptic!
